As a member, you own Arkansas Superior Federal Credit Union. We're a non-profit, member-owned financial organization dedicated to providing the SERVICE our members want and need.
The Credit Union operates under four objectives:

(1) Encourage thrift among members, thus creating a pool of lendable funds. (2) Make members loans at reasonable rates of interest. (3) Pay a fair rate of return on member savings. (4) Provide helpful financial services.

Members elect from among themselves, the volunteers to serve on the Board of Directors, which sets policies and establishes bylaws. And the job of running the day-to-day operation of the Credit Union is delegated to the professional staff.

After deducting expenses and funds for reserves, as required by law, the remaining money is returned to members as dividends on savings.

Members of your family are also eligible to join, They include: anyone related by blood or marriage. Having your family join the Credit Union and passing on the many benefits is one of the best gifts you can give them. Plus, at the Credit Union, "Once a member, always a member" is the policy. Even if you change jobs, retire, or move away you retain your membership with all its benefits. All it takes to join is a $5 deposit into your regular share (savings) account. This opens your "lifetime membership" account.
